  38.        This section lists the subsystems (and their sizes) of the
  39.        IRIS InSight software.

  41.        You can use the software installation instructions in the
  42.        _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e to install this
  43.        product.  If you are installing this software for the first
  44.        time, the default subsystems are installed if you click the
  45.        _I_n_s_t_a_l_l _A_u_t_o_m_a_t_i_c_a_l_l_y button.  To install a different set of
  46.        subsystems, click the _C_u_s_t_o_m_i_z_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n button and make
  47.        your new selections.  Then click the _S_t_a_r_t button to launch
  48.        the installation.

  83.        using IRIX.  You do not need to use the miniroot. Refer to

  89.        2.4  _P_r_e_r_e_q_u_i_s_i_t_e_s

  91.        Your workstation must be running release 4D1-6.2 in order to
  92.        use this release of IRIS InSight.

  94.        2.5  _C_o_m_p_a_t_i_b_i_l_i_t_y
  95.  
  96.        The IRIS InSight 2.X viewers are incompatible with the IRIS
  97.        InSight 1.0 books that installed with IRIX 4.0.1.  You will
  98.        not be able to install the older 1.0 books after a 2.X
  99.        viewer is installed, due to incompatibility rules during
  100.        installation.  However, we have no means of preventing users
  101.        from mounting 1.0 books onto a 2.X viewer's filesystem.

  103.        It is also possible to mount and access the 6.2 books from a
  104.        5.3 system, however the help for applications may not work
  105.        due to changes in the applications and documentation between
  106.        the two operating systems.  The same is also true for 5.3
  107.        help books being accessed from 6.2 applications.
